Not only did my show open this week, BUT we also started on the wedding invitations!This involved:
1) relocating the bag of "off-cuts" that my printmaker friends gave me
2) sorting through it to find suitable pieces
3) making vats of tea in which to soak the paper
4) soaking the paper for extended periods of time
5) taking them out to dry
6) tearing them down to size.
And after all that I only have 40!
Oh well, it'll be worth it because each one is going to be unique.
Now we just have to get the stamps made!
